Our goal is to help Nations build sustainable businesses to meet the long term goals and objectives of Council and the Community. We assist in building a solid foundation, assessing resources and assets, and creating a sustainable plan for long term profitablity for the Nation. Success is determined by creating capacity within the Nation to do development without partners in the future. We are passionate about career and skill development for Nation members, community business and entrepreneurs support, and environmental sustainability and land stewardship.

Nation members who hold land title have the ability to unlock the value of their land and create generational wealth for their families, create community amenities for membership and create a revenue stream for the Nation. We can provide property management, site assessments, and key strategic partnerships. We help you navigate bylaws, government processes, Council presentations and direction, and community engagement. We work hard to ensure any additional benefits that can be provided to the Nation in the forms of employment, property taxes or the like are maximized.

Trifecta has been working with First Nation’s for over 30 years and has a proven track record of successful engagement and strategic problem solving. DEVELOPERS
In today’s society, consultation with local First Nations is manditory to the longterm success of any development. Historically, the local First Nations have not been shown the respect they deserve in their unceded territory, but those days are gone. Local First Nations have a right to their territory and to be engaged on any development in neighboring areas. This can often feel overwhelming for developers who have not had this type of consultation in the past. We can assist you in navigating this new reality and creating long term rewarding relationships with local First Nation governments.

Reconciliation
Reconciliation presents an opportunity to define more healthy relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. The goal of Trifecta, through a corporate / professional services lens, is to explore a variety of partnerships to add meaning to reconciliation for the purpose of developing projects that are sensitive to the needs of Indigenous people. At the heart of reconciliation is how ancestral lands are owned and managed. Project accommodations need to be made to get projects “right” and we have the experience on how to do that. As between clients and consultants, if we can agree that being creative is a necessary means to succeed and be mindful of cultural ways, we believe that new pathways to progress can be achieved and hence the concept of reconciliation can be complemented by definition.

We have learned that since the beginning of time First Nations have captured their history and culture through oral history, which has been passed down from generation to generation.
